~Watercolor Inspiration and Simple & Sweet Fridays #107~

I was saving egg shells for a project for Easter.
I needed some inspiration and remembered I received some Smith & Hawkins ornaments as a gift from a friend for Christmas.
They all were so cute but,
were badly in need of some color.
The egg shells were in need of a color makeover as well.
Why not,
paint them with some watercolors.
I love painting with watercolors.
I'm sure it all has to do
with learning it in Elementary School.
A little color to the ornaments gave them new life!
I had saved some egg shells as well and had fun painting them too!

I added some green moss.
A cute way to display some watercolor for Spring!

I had to share with you,
I found the most adorable crocheted eggs at
Pier 1 Imports yesterday.
Love the crochet around the eggs!!

What cute ideas have you been working on this week.
Easter is right around the corner!

Thanks for 'cracking' the code: it seems that spring is playing hard to get here in my hometown of Toronto, but your cheery water coloured eggs and trinkets have delivered it to my computer screen and smiles have spread!

  27. I love your Easter project, especially the egg shells... I wonder if I could find some. As for moss, there's plenty of it in the garden after the rainiest winter of history here!

  29. Hi, Linda. I'm sooooo embarrassed...you featured my Spring-ier China Cabinet, and I am just now responding. I'm more sorry than I am embarrassed...last week was a blurr, and I think I didn't get to bloghop/post my next post on Friday, so I wasn't here! Thank you so much for featuring my china cabinet! It means so much to me to be featured. Thank you.

  30. This is just a comedy of errors--or something! As soon as I hit Published I realized I'd written Linda, because I'd been reading your posts about your party for your friend and I thought it was so kind to say how pretty she looked (she did!). I KNOW you're not Linda!!! I KNOW you're Jody!! OMG... :(
