~Drying Flowers For Spring~

Drying flowers for Spring is one of my favorite things to do.
Since I had to cut back my roses for Spring,
I decided to pick the roses and flowers that were blooming.
I always love using them for different projects for the Spring.
I found the perfect drying rack at the thrift store.

So easy to tie them up with some jute.
I wonder what ideas I'll find on Pinterest.
Looking forward to more flowers in the garden in Spring.

  2. I love making my own potpourri. I haven't done it for a few years, but now you've inspired me! Though I will have to wait until mid summer. It's cold and snowy here:)

  7. Jody & Stan,
Love the vivid hues of roses for drying, dear friends!!!
I dried my first roses from our Autumnal Garden last year.
I'm hoping to be able to capture some Spring Roses for drying, as well!!!
I'll be watching for a post of your dried roses in vignettes!!!
    Fondly,
    Pat

  8. Oh, these are so pretty. I love dried roses. One time my son surprised me with a bouquet of flowers, and when they dried out, I hung them like this. I had those roses for many years. Pink and Red roses....aahh, be still my heart. You have so many wonderful ideas. I wanted to plant some roses this spring at our new home, and I was wondering what month is the best one to plant them? I thought you might know since you are so good with flowers.
